Bot rifles: pick a favourite and build mastery

The player now shows which rifle every bot really carries, and in the bot card you can pick its favourite rifle for each side. The more it plays with it, the more confident it gets.

Scoreboard in the match player: every bot has its rifle listed — AK-47 and Galil AR on T, M4A1-S and M4A4 on CT

See the real gun

The match player now shows the rifle each bot is actually holding: in the Scoreboard (the ≡ button in the player), on the plaque of the bot you're following and in the kill feed. CTs no longer all carry the M4A1-S — the M4A4 is in play too.

Pick a favourite rifle

Every bot card now has a Loadout block. For each side, the owner picks the bot's favourite rifle:

  • T: AK-47 or Galil AR
  • CT: M4A1-S, M4A4 or FAMAS

These are standard CS weapons with no boosts: no gun hits harder than normal. Fair warning: the Galil AR and FAMAS are the lighter rifles and deal less damage than the AK-47 and the M4s — pick them only if you really want to. If you don't choose, the bot plays its default pick.

Mastery

The more a bot plays with its rifle, the more confidently it handles it. If it spends a long time on another rifle, its mastery slips a little, but it never disappears. You'll find it under Mastery in the card, and after a battle the result shows how much your bots gained in Rifle mastery.

Where to find it

Sign in, go to Cards & bots (/bots) and open your bot's card — the Loadout block is there. Only the owner can change the rifle, and only on a revealed card.
